Quick Guide to Material Types

Iron-based (and therefore magnetic) materials, most commonly steel. This category includes most household appliances such as washers and dryers as well as tools, equipment, and building materials. May contain some non-metallic inclusions.

Non-magnetic materials, most commonly aluminum, copper, brass, and stainless steel. These materials typically have a higher value than ferrous metals, and come from a vast array of sources such as electrical systems, plumbing, machine components, and some building materials. May contain some ferrous and non-metallic inclusions.
We buy whole, end-of-life automobiles. To recycle a vehicle, you must provide required ownership paperwork such as the vehicle’s title or other acceptable alternatives. For questions about car paperwork, give us a call! Our team takes care of all fluid draining and hazardous material removal.
Catalytic converters are an essential component in combustion engine exhaust systems. These devices help reduce emissions of toxic gases produced from the combustion of gasoline and diesel fuels. They contain precious metals such as platinum, which makes them valuable for recycling. Because of their high value, catalytic converters have increasingly become a target of theft. Pacific Recycling has zero tolerance for material theft, and we maintain full compliance with theft prevention regulations including the requirement for proof of ownership of catalytic converters.
